I had torqued my back, and it felt like one of my ribs as "out" and was making my breathing in too deeply (if there can be such a concept) a challenge, to say the least.
I spent most of the time on the TV room floor trying to be comfortable. I was trying to avoid opiates or stronger pain killers in general because it was a Wednesday, and I was DETERMINED to not oversleep (again!) this week. I did take half of a flexeril, on the slim hope that a little muscle relaxant would help things pop back into position. I also had a nice, long hot soak, and went to bed by midnight.
Today I clearly am a lot better. I can take in those deep breaths and sit up without the OW, so we'll see how it progresses. If it does come back, I can give Witch Doctor Bill (he's a doc o' chiro, and a witch... it fits!) a yell and he'll squeeze me into his schedule if possible (knowing someone from over 20 years can be helpful in these situations).
Still considering the first thing that Leslie, Kim and Roni suggested was a possible heart attack (no, it wasn't!) just thought I'd let y'all know. :D
